I was trying to renew my newly found Gold Status with Virgin Australia and it has been fun with it, so I mean I can&#8217;t lose it!<\/p>\n<p>Well I am currently about 280 status credits off renewing it, and I have a bit of flying planned but not all that much.  Well Virgin has decided to help with renewal&#8230; well kind of.  They have put in a special for Double Status Credits on all Business Fares.  Which means for a fairly cheap investment I can make my requalification all the more reasonable!  Works out about $4 per status credit, much cheaper than most cheap Economy Fares which are around the $8-10 per status credit mark.<\/p>\n<p>Pretty much my flights will be a little crazy for a 1 day trip but what the hell, I am up for some fun.  I will leave it all a mystery till the day but it shall be fun none the less.  I have a good amount of flights coming up over the next two weekends.
