I do believe temperatures below 32F make this the coldest I have ever dealt with, the final few days of last week proved that last winter was nothing and that I am in for a rude surprise. <\/p>\n
Even with stupidly cold weather the weekend was good. Why? I escaped into the sky. I was back in the air for probably my last time for the year, time to get those laat few miles towards the end of year run. I managed to add some new experiences to the list. <\/p>\n
A new airport is always good and I added Kansas City International to it, add on the fact i crossed two more States offy list in the one trip and I think that is good just for that! But I also experienced snow for the third time, real falling snow. I didn’t go out running in it this time (learnt that lesson) but I did get out and drive in it (not that I had much choice). <\/p>\n
I wil have a full rundown and trip report from the weekend on this blog, plus the $100 challenge piece on AirlineReporter.com but it was a successful weekend.
